Mentees are not just recipients of meals; they actively engage in learning about nutrition, cooking, and cultivating healthy habits. Son of a Saint mentees Amari, Jaylen, Lance, and Leo took the reins at the 2024 Louisiana Carnival Horse Show in Covington, La. Special thanks to the team from Cascade Stables in New Orleans and New Orleans City Councilmember Helena Moreno for helping to make this uniquely meaningful experience possible.

In November 2022, Son of a Saint selected 19 of its mentees to travel to Ghana, Africa. These young men were able to experience an incredible adventure and gain invaluable life experiences along the way. The mentees immersed themselves in Ghana's vibrant culture, interacted with local leaders, and learned about the history and traditions of the country.
