MISSION
Son of a Saint + Friends is an initiative aimed at fostering a collaborative network of support for New Orleans youth. This program is dedicated to collecting and sharing vital resources, knowledge, and access with partnering community groups, peer organizations, and deserving families.
The mission of Son of a Saint + Friends is to utilize Son of a Saint’s regional and national leverage to help uplift the city’s youth. Through partnerships and collective efforts, Son of a Saint + Friends aims to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of those it serves.

The program will facilitate mentorship programs that connect experienced individuals with those seeking guidance and support. This will include mentorship for young men served by Son of a Saint, as well as mentorship opportunities for community members.

Regular community events and outreach programs will be organized to foster a sense of belonging and unity within the New Orleans community. These events will serve as opportunities for networking, mutual support, and celebration.

Son of a Saint + Friends will work to redistribute surplus resources, such as food, clothing, and educational materials, to those in need throughout the New Orleans region. This initiative aims to reduce waste while addressing the immediate needs of families and individuals. Son of a Saint mentees will assist in recruiting and inviting their peers from schools, sports teams, and other youth groups.
